Brew at the Zoo
Brew at the Zoo is an after-hours, adults-only event at the Zoo showcasing Manitoba’s craft brewers plus a selection of brews from other parts of Canada and around the world. Enjoy unlimited samples of craft beer, cider, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks plus live music, games, and a great atmosphere!

Premium ticket holders: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
General ticket holders: 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Tickets for this event are limited and can be purchased online or at the Visitor Services desks at the Zoo entrance, The Leaf, or The Pavilion during regular hours of operation.
This event is for adults only, ages 18+. Choose from three different ticket types: Premium, General, and Designated Driver.
Ticket Types and Policies
Premium admission tickets: $75
- Unlimited beverage samples
- Brew at the Zoo sample cup
- Dinner voucher that can be redeemed at the Tundra Grill or an on-site food truck
- Entry begins at 6:00 pm
General admission tickets: $55
- Unlimited beverage samples
- Brew at the Zoo sample cup
- Entry begins at 7:00 pm
Designated Driver admission tickets: $30
- Unlimited non-alcoholic beverage samples at select booths.
- A selection of non-alcoholic beverages curated by Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar will also be available at three service locations.
- Branded wristband
- Entry begins at 6:00 pm
Ticket Policies & Regulations
- Guests must be 18 and over. A photo ID is required.
- Tickets are date and time-specific.
- No outside food or drink.
- The event will proceed rain or shine.
- Refunds will only be offered in the event of a Zoo closure.
- The last entry is at 9:00 pm. The last pour is at 9:45 pm.
- No re-entry. If you leave the event for any reason, you will be unable to return.
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the Zoo. You may leave the Zoo to smoke or vape, and a staff member or volunteer will give you a stamp to allow re-entry.
- Disorderly conduct will result in your removal from the event. This includes trespassing into restricted areas, and unsafe or disrespectful actions towards animals, visitors, staff, volunteers or Zoo property.
- Event entry is only via the Main Zoo Entrance located at 2595 Roblin Boulevard.

Snacks and Dinner
The Zoo’s culinary team is excited to present a special menu for this event that pairs perfectly with craft beer!
Food service will be available at the Tundra Grill and two event tents, each area will have a bar featuring beer from the presenting breweries.
Special menu items include:
- Beer & Jalapeño Mac n' Cheese
- Crispy Chicken Burger with Honey Mustard Coleslaw
- Beer Cheese Mushroom Burger
- Manitoba Social Platter
- Blueberry Beer Float
Mini Donuts, featuring house-made Beer Batter Mini Donuts, and food trucks will also be on-site!
Food service is not included in the cost of admission.

Can I purchase tickets at the gate?
We expect this event to sell out in advance. Tickets will not be available at the gate on the evening of the event.
I didn't get the confirmation email for my tickets! What do I do?
First, check your junk/spam or promotions folder. If you still don't see it, please e-mail [email protected] or call (204) 927-6098 with your purchase details (purchaser name, date of purchase, quantity of tickets) and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Can I smoke or vape at Brew at the Zoo?
No, the Zoo is a smoke free facility. This policy also applies to vaping. Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the Zoo. You may leave the Zoo to smoke or vape, and a staff member or volunteer will give you a stamp to allow re-entry.
What is the weather cancellation policy for Brew at the Zoo?
Brew at the Zoo will proceed rain or shine. The Zoo will only be closed in the case of extreme weather. A closure notice will be posted on our website, Facebook, and Instagram by 4:00 pm on the day of the event. Ticket holders that have purchased online will be contacted by e-mail.
Can I bring in outside food and drink?
No, outside food and beverages are not permitted. Re-usable water bottles are permitted.
Can I see the Zoo animals during Brew at the Zoo?
The entire Zoo will not be open during this event. Brew at the Zoo takes place along a designated path within the Zoo. While it is possible you may see some animals, most of them will be put to bed for the night. If you are interested in seeing all the animals at the Zoo, come back during daytime Zoo hours of operation! The Zoo is open daily from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Can I purchase beer to take home from the breweries?
No, beer will not be available to purchase to take home. We encourage you to visit the breweries you sampled after the event!
